Yuly Yury Blyumental, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, at the age of 79.
Born on April 10, 1946, in Moscow, Russia, to Yury and Frida M. (Padva) Blyumental, Yuly grew up with a deep love for learning and a sharp, analytical mind. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and built a successful career as a computer programmer. He was known for his intellect, patience, and dedication to his work.
Yuly married the love of his life, Nina Blyumental, and together they built a warm and supportive family. In his personal life, Yuly was an avid chess player, sports enthusiast, and devoted soccer fan. His thoughtful presence and quiet strength touched all who knew him.
He is survived by his cherished wife Nina, his loving daughter Katya (John) Blake, and his treasured grandchildren: Margo Carr, Anya Nova, Maria Martinovic, Tim Blake, and Sandy Martinovic.
Yuly’s legacy of kindness, intelligence, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed.
