William R. turner III's Obituary
William R. Turner III, affectionately known as Bill, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 68 while in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Born on May 10, 1958, he was the beloved son of William R. Turner Jr. and Beverly Turner, both of whom preceded him in death.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Heung Turner.
Throughout his career, Bill worked as a country club manager, where he was known for his dedication and ability to make others feel welcome.
Bill had a passion for staying active and enjoyed sports, reading—especially novels by Tom Clancy—and spending time at the beach. He loved exploring different restaurants, going on outings with family, and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym.
He is survived by his daughter, Riley Turner (Stephen Norman); his son, Devon Turner (Kathleen Turner); and his granddaughters, Shelby and Maeve. He is also survived by his sisters, Debbie Lees (Jack Lees) and Kay Hunsberger (Bill Hunsberger), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Heung Turner.
Bill will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, and his ability to bring people together. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the memories he created with those he loved.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to check back for updated information.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that loved ones honor Bill's memory by spending time with family, enjoying a day at the beach, sharing a good meal with friends, or picking up a favorite book.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
