I had the pleasure of meeting Bill in January of this year. Remembering his wit and storytelling, specifically the playful banter between him and his brother Patrick. The two were like a comedy duo alternating the role of “straight man”. Listening to the brothers reminisce, play their harmonicas, and sing with playful rivalry was a joy not likely to be soon forgotten. I am grateful to have know Bill, a kind, loving and considerate man.

Randy and I met Bill at crabs outback. Bill offered me a job and without any hesitation I accepted. What a wonderful man to work for his personality and sense of humor was a joy to come in everyday .... It never really seemed like a job because Randy and I loved the salt life as much as he did. He always had wonderful stories to tell us and as we told him ours. We were so excited when Bill and Patti showed upat our house a couple of months ago for a visit. Bill and Jean opened their doors to me and my family at Tilghman Island. We spent several Tilghman days with them and had many laughs lots of good food and great times. They were generous and wonderful people sincere condolences from the Vaughns
Bill and I met while attending Poly. We hit it off and became friends. At a time early on in our marriages, we were almost inseparable. Jean and my wife Barb also became close friends.We had a lot of fun, laughs, and many good times together. He was a genuine good friend. He was funny, smart and generous.Although we drifted apart lately because of relocating, we often talked about our relationships.Barb and I were so fortunate to have gotten together with Bill and his family last year at a party he had for Pat Sandy.
