Dad, thank you to all you've given me, our family and our world. I will live each day with you in my heart and mind remembering the love you showed me. I learned to be a man from you and a can only strive to be half the man you were. I miss you but you will live on in my thoughts and you will be known if by spirit by my children and all those who come to know the Bill Gibson story. Thanks for ALWAYS being there for me Dad - I love & miss you!

Mr. Gibson (Bill): I was one of your Facebook Friends through your daughter, Lori O'Day. She gave us her detailed and tender thoughts as you fought your brave battle. We grew to know you and love you through this social media outlet. After reading your In Memoriam details, I saw that you were a Navy man, just like my Dad. I so related to the things Lori said as I had a similar relationship with my Dad who went to Heaven 6+ years ago (his name is Frank Cregger, so look for him there!). May you rest in Peace and find comfort in knowing that MANY people, from far and wide and places you didn't expect, cared for you and loved you! Many Regards, Stephanie C. Reger of Herndon, Virginia.
Libby and family, please know that Carey's and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. We are so thankful that we were able to meet Bill last June when we were in Lewes. I will always think of Bill and you, Libby, when eating soft shell crabs. God bless you all.
Bette Lee Miller
Deepest condolences to the Gibson family.
Libby and Family:
We only had a short time together, which is a great loss for us, but we knew from the start what a terrific guy Bill was... a devoted husband, a loving father, father-in-law & grandfather, always ready to share that beautiful smile. Bill has left behind a treasure of memories to be cherished and shared by family and friends.
A Favorite Verse:
