Thomas C. Schlemmer's Obituary
Thomas C. Schlemmer age 77 of Milton, DE passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side, on Friday, December 18, 2020. He was born on July 28, 1943 in Honolulu, HI, son of the late Pinkham L. and Ethelwyn (Lincoln) Schlemmer.
Mr. Schlemmer was born and raised in Hawaii. He was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam War. After his service, he built a lifelong career as an automobile mechanic with Fort Lee Borough, NJ.
Mr. Schlemmer belonged to the Grumpy Old Men's Computer Club and had many interests and hobbies, including his love for race cars and rock and roll music. Above all, he cherished time with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Schlemmer is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Gibilaro) Schlemmer of Milton, DE; his grateful children: son Robert Schlemmer of Portsmouth, NH, and his daughter Erica Gentiluomo of Bergenfield, NJ; his grandchildren: Michael Schlemmer, Jonathan Schlemmer, Jeremy Schlemmer, and Amanda Schlemmer all of Portsmouth, NH; Vincent Gentiluomo, Thomas Gentiluomo, and Gabriel Gentiluomo, all of Bergenfield, NJ; his sister, Diane Dalgaard, of Quarryville, PA; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 4 great nephews.
