Ann and I met Stan and Joan when we moved to Bethany Beach in 1999 and have maintained a friendly and fun relationship through social events, playing golf and through VFW events. Stan and I had a common bond as we both served in the US Army but my service was during the Korean war period and Stanley was in WWII. Stan thoroughly enjoyed life, always had a smile on his face and I don't think he ever had a bad day.

So sorry to hear of Stan's passing. He was one of the last of the Ellwood City Jewish community. Sam and Al Leventhal are the men left . Stan was always such a sharp dresser and a blessing to the community. We just took a ride around town and past the house on Skyline....remembering.
