When we lived next door to where we live now and we were sneaking out and we jumped out of my window and my grandmother is watching us from the next house .. I get through the bush, Sandy says screw it and drops. All I see is a foot out of the bush and her unforgettable laugh. My grandmother came outside and was smiling from ear to ear laughing so hard there were tears in her eyes and she said “ if you don’t grab Sandy’s foot and help that girl out I’m telling .” Young kids being dumb. She was the first person I met and she made every day worth while .
I have no words. Sandy made me smile and laugh during some of my worst days. Lucy, Sue, sending so much love and healing and I am here for you always.
Sandy brought light and warmth to everyone around her. Her kindness will never be forgotten. I still remember her like it was yesterday when we worked together at Christiana hospital. Wishing peace and comfort to her family.

Oh Edna, where do I begin? When we met, you were just a pre-teen. You and LeeAnn (who also has a host of nicknames) quickly became best friends. I can remember countless days of driving you both back and forth, prom pics, graduation parties and most recently, catching up when I moved to the beach permanently.
