Dear Hazel, Rodney, Vicki and Greg,
I always enjoyed stopping on your front porch to visit with Rodney. He told me about being in the navy, working for the government, how much he loved his wife. Of course, he gave my dog, Stickeen, lots of love and attention. He told me many times how much he missed his dog, Sandy. Stickeen loved sitting by Rodney's feet enjoying the love and attention Rodney gave him. The last time we visited about 3 weeks ago, Rodney asked me if I had children. I told him, no. He smiled at me and said, "That's a shame; it's a great to have children." Stickeen and I will miss him very much.
Peace,
Leslie, Claire and Stickeen (#89)
