Was thinking of Aunt Madge with a smile today. So much love.
God Blessed many people when Aunt Madge was born. Will always be remembered as a great prayer warrior.
Mother Madge's life was an exceptional earthly blessing; her life was an example of the Holy Spirit's gifts: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control (Galatians 5:22)
She was a constant witness and I know that those who live in Christ, will not see each other for the last time. In the meantime, she will be greatly missed.
Aunt Madge,
It will be wrong coming back home and not having you and your guest book waiting for us. You were and are a wonderful woman who was in my life from the time I was a small child. You will be greatly missed. But I also know you are where you want to be.
I wrote the bible school teacher story on life stories...rest in peace Sister Crist
Each year I would look forward to a trip to Delaware and a visit with Aunt Madge. I loved the idea of signing her guestbook with each visit. She always had such interesting stories about the family and past events as well as her own thoughts and experiences. We are so fortunate that God allowed her to stay with us for a long while but I am happy for Aunt Madge's wish to unite with Him and His love. She will be missed each day and live long in our hearts. Love you Aunt Madge. Amen.
Aunt Madge thanks for your many years of love and prayers. Your kindness to me can never be replaced. A lot of good memories on the farm with you and Uncle John.
Aunt Madge had the sweetest spirit and the most lovely twinkling periwinkle eyes..Always delightful, many fond memories I will always cherish. Very loved and will be missed.
Aunt Madge you were my prayer warrior and a very important part of my life and my children's life I will miss you forever.Safe in the arms of Jesus.... forever loved.
Ida,
We were fortunate for the loving, close relationship with your Mother. Carolyn and I were often guests (sometimes overnight) at Uncle John and Aunt Madge's warm, cozy home. We fondly remember pre-electricity times and helping decorate her Christmas tree ... and the many Christmas candies, the home-made butter, milking the cow, feeding the horses, and playing dominoes. But most of all, we cherish the love that Aunt Madge showered on all of us.
Aunt Madge was a great Christian role-model ... she walked the talk.
We all will miss her, but will always have wonderful memories that she made possible. She and my Father and Mother were in a class all-their-own.

Howard.
