Paul G. BIngham's Obituary
Paul G. Bingham, age 90 of Milton, DE and formerly of Annapolis, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 9, 1932, in Nashua, NH, son of the late Paul G. Sr. and Mary (Peabody) Bingham.
Mr. Bingham was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. His love of the sea would lead him to a lifelong career working in and around the waterways of the Eastern Shore. He was a jack of all trades: a diesel engine mechanic, the captain of a private yacht, and he enjoyed a twenty-five-year career with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources working in Code Enforcement.
Mr. Bingham was a gifted musician and played drums for the “3 Hits and A Miss” band and enjoyed the many senior centers where they would perform. He was a member of the American Legion Post 5 in Rehoboth Beach, he loved to travel, especially to Germany and the Bahamas, and he was an avid sports fan, cheering on his favorite teams. Mr. Bingham loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren who were the apples of his eye. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bingham was preceded in death by his son, Stephen G. Bingham. He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-eight years, A. Joyce Bingham, of Milton, DE; his daughter, Rhonda L. Heller (Stephen) of Milton, DE; his grandchildren: Stephen P. Heller (Melissa Hayes) of Dominical, Costa Rica, Nathan L. Heller (Julie) of Dunkirk, MD, and Casey A. Warren (Kyle) of Fort Worth, TX; his great-grandchildren: Alexia B. Curcio of Fort Worth, TX, Avery L. Heller and Emma L. Heller, both of Dunkirk, MD, Kinley P. Heller of Dominical, Costa Rica, and Tora L. Warren of Fort Worth, TX; his great-grandson, Ryker C. Heller, of Dominical, Costa Rica; and his brother, David Bingham (Vivian) of Nashua, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriot’s Way, Milford, DE 19963, or www.delwarehospice.org.
