I got to know Pat when he had a camper at Steamboat Landing. My grandparents had the lot next to him, we struck up a friendship, and became fishing buddies. I had the pleasure of spending many days on the Delaware bay fishing with him. My best memory was having the floor of the boat covered in bluefish. We caught so many, that towards the end they were biting on bare hooks. And when we finished cleaning the fish, he would always dump the slimy water from the cooler on his flowers around the camper, said it made them grow better. He also introduced me to my first taste of Jameson whiskey. Rest in peace my friend, and tight lines.
