Opal was this beautiful and sweet girl on our schoolbus. I gave her clarinet lessons at some point. Her eyes were remarkable even when she was really little.

Opal’s eyes and laughter lit up the school bus rides to Vernon River School. Boy was she spunky!!! You couldn’t help but notice Opal’s vivacious, fearless spirit as a child. My condolences to her family and friends.
Opal was my beautiful, smart, and kind niece. Although she appeared at times to have a tough exterior, the opposite was true. What I will remember most about my dear little Op was her laugh. She would crinkle her nose when she laughed and it was loud. It made me want to say funny things all the time, just so I could hear. I will miss you Op, and will always love and cherish you.
