I will miss you, Mr. Layton.
Window glass in more sizes and at a lower price than Lowes.
Black pipe sold at a better price than the wholesale plumbing distributor.
4 different colors of plastic wood, in stock, available NOWHERE else.
And Mr. Layton patiently explained to me reverse thread tap and dies.
Fast and affordable repairs to Stihl equipment.
Knew all about the person the local athletic field was named after.
Mr. Layton's store either had the product I wanted to buy or he had the answers to the questions I needed to ask to get the repair done or both and I always left the store looking forward to my next visit.
I will miss you, Mr. Layton.
When I first moved here to Delaware I met Michael. He made me feel like I belonged and safe here. Joking and asking me if I wanted to buy a hardware store? What a great person and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Have a glass of wine on me in heaven. Oh you never let anyone buy you a drink but this one is on me Mike. May you now RIP.
