I just found out today of Mike's passing. I can't believe he is gone. I worked with Mike at MBNA. It wasn't until I was laid off that we really became friends. I found his LayoffRX site and he proceeded to re-write my resume and help me find a job. He was ALWAYS willing to help no matter what was going on in his life. He was such a good friend to me I can only imagine how great he was to his family. I am truly sorry for your loss. Words can not truly describe the magnitude of this loss. Mike, if only I can be half the man you were I would be in great shape. God bless you and your family.

Mike was an excellent coworker and knew his stuff. He was always kind, supportive and unselfish. He was always willing to chip in and give his informed opinion and take feedback excellently. May God bless him in heaven and his family here on earth.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Mike's passing.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike on a large and often times intense IT project, a couple years back.

Mike always maintained an admirable level of professionalism during the stressful moments of our progject and kept the energy light with his "Futtyisms". Whether it was his cat he so endearingly called "Psycho" joining in on our conference calls, or his temporary "Cranial Flatulence", Mike kept us all engaged and in good spirits.

If he was able to charm a work team without ever meeting face-to-face, I can only imagine the immeasurable impact he had on his loved ones.

I offer my deep condolences to his family friends. May the memories of Mike warm your hearts through this difficult time.

Mike was a wonderful co-worker, mentor and friend. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike through our Toastmasters club st work. He was a very talented and persuasive speaker and he helped coach and guide me in becoming better as a speaker.

Mr. Futty was a friend in the business, a mentor, and a technical advisor whenever needed at BAC. Mike Futty served as my manager during MBNA days. I remember many great life stories we shared. Mike was like a family member because he was consistently warm, friendly and supportive, even when he was busy. Mike could always add you in as another thread to his multiprocessing. Remarkable. I am shocked to read of Michael's passing. I have known him since he was a tiny babe only a few months old. As an adult when we would meet he gave the best of hugs. Such a tragic loss. His Mom Bunny, sister Susan and Curt, his Dad are in my thoughts and prayers. Peaceful sleep Michael my love.xx
