Bernard & Dolores Fiegel
I first met Maureen and Bob over 20 years ago soon after they moved into their new home on Edgewater Estates. I greeted Maureen and Bob into the neighborhood with a Lifelong Learning catalog in hand. She and Bob became avid Osher lifelong learners. For years, Maureen led a Tai Chi group every Tuesday year round until July when she became ill. I was privileged to be part of that group and will lead that group in her memory. Maureen was a dependable volunteer for Osher’s annual picnic, semester end luncheons, Rehoboth Cottage Tour, Lewes Christmas House Tour and Garden House Tour. She also served on the Board of Edgewater Estates and diligently followed through on her duties. I recall Bernie and I throwing an overly ambitions open house party and fell behind with food preparation ... I picked up the phone and asked for help. Maureen arrived within minutes. Bernie and I will miss Maureen as a neighbor and as a fellow member of Osher Lifelong Learning. May Bob find peace in knowing he was always by her side.
