Mark was a legend. I’ll never forget the carpools to hockey tournaments with the heat blasting on 90 degrees and Clapton unplugged on the cassette player. Dominos and Pepsi. Man among men. Stand up guy, honest, caring, definition of family man.
Gone but never forgotten.

My primary memory is observing Mark as he entered a room with his four grandchildren –Charlotte, Callie, Trevor and Drew –and how easily he engaged in conversation with each child according to his/her interests and age, making each feel special. Mark could carry on a conversation with the children in such a natural and genuine way, finding topics of interest to them. The same was true during Face Time calls. The grandchildren much loved this gentle giant and their time with him. They will truly miss having him in their lives!
