Mario W. Buonopane's Obituary
Mario W. Buonopane, age 76 of Milton, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on September 20, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late William and Helen (Hawkins) Buonopane.
Mr. Buonopane was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the US Army. He built a career as a security officer, working for both Allen Foods and Beebe Healthcare. Mr. Buonopane's interest were many and varied. He enjoyed reading and was an avid fan of Sci-Fi movies. Above all, he cherished time spent with those he held most dear, especially his adored grandchildren. Mr. Buonopane was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Buonopane was preceded in death by his son, Marco Demitri Buonopane; and his brother, William "Woody" Buonopane. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Diane R. Buonopane; his son, Mario "Bonz" Buonopane (Tham Le); his daughters: Melissa White (Ryan), Marlena Costango (Nicholas), and Diane M. Buonopane (Morgan Morsillo); his goddaughter, Sara Hudson; his grandchildren: Amore Buonopane, Rocco Buonopane, Vito Buonopane, Isabella Wade, Gabriella Wade, Nico Costango, Marco Costango, Anastasia White, Cora White, Owen White, Mikael Royer, and Draco Morsillo; his brothers: Anthony Buonopane, Peter DeLucca, and Charles Buonopane; his sister Joann Buonopane Hamaker; and his many nieces and nephews.
