I am a 1994 graduate of Delcastle THS, Mr. D was my 11th grade Cosmetology teacher. He was so awesome. It saddened me to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences.
Condolences DiMascio family, Lou was always such a positive influence on me & my basketball journey.
Private lessons in the N. Wilm backyard, strength shoes, or just his bright smile...sincerely, Alex Karlsen
Thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I know you have wonderful memories you will treasure. Lou was a great guy. I enjoyed the many times we shared especially during our high school years.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, my heart goes out to you and your family. May God bless and give you comfort.
First, as Lou's direct supervisor at Delcastle Vocational H.S. and later as his State Supervisor at the DE Dept. Of Ed, I was blessed by his presence many times. I was always impressed by his wonderful attitude and his sincere teaching abilities. You could tell almost immediately how much his students loved him. His fellow teachers were cheered by him and admired him as well.
When a person positively touches as many student lives as Lou has touched, his influence on the people of this earth is carved in stone and passed on to future generations. This is a great loss for his family, friends, colleagues, and students. He will be missed by all here as he moves on to make heaven a little more heavenly.

Mr. D was one of the brightest faces I saw each morning when I would collect attendance sheets. He would always smile and greet me with a hearty pat on the back. He was only my teacher briefly during exploratory classes in 9th grade, but he was a great teacher just the same. My condolences to his family and friends, he will be missed.
Dear Sue and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Lou was such a great man. I know he will be sorely missed. Peace and love, Alice Masterson
Mr.D was my favorite teacher all four years at Delcastle. He would always sing "Delta Dawn" and "Dawn go away" to me. RIP Mr D you will be truly missed . Mrs.D and family lots of prayers and love for your family.
