We enjoyed growing up with you and feeling the love your mother had for you and all the children of Houston. I was one of the Village Volunteers who drove Rose to Beebe, and I always looked forward to seeing her. She was funny, interesting and so kind. She loved being close to her family and spoke of them often. We had great conversations, and even when she seemed in pain, she would stay positive. I will miss her as I'm sure everyone will. She always greeted me and my cousins with, “hello beautiful or handsome. Kind words I started using when greeting others. Positive, kind, loving, funny—that was Aunt Rosie! She will truly be missed.
