Leo John Medisch's Obituary
Leo John Medisch , age 60, of Lewes, D, .passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Dayton, OH, on February 12, 1953, son of the Joseph Medisch and Phyllis (Uschold) Medisch. He was preceded in death by his partner Tom Wilson and his mother.
Leo was an executive chef by profession and was a former partner in the Back Porch Restaurant of Rehoboth Beach. He enjoyed traveling, eating and was a very avid collector and promoter of the arts. Spending time with his family and friends and enjoying a hearty laugh was most important to him.
He is survived by his father Joseph Medisch, five sisters, Karen Crisp and husband Ed, Jolene Hill and husband John, Susan Vania and husband Bob, Jackie Paullin and husband Jeff, Jenny Fleetwood and husband George; his nephew Mike Hill and other numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Leo's Life will be announced at a later date.
