Although we didn't see other sometimes for years, each time we did see each other, it was as if no time had passed.

I just recently heard about Leo's passing. I am a friend from way a long time ago. Leo and I were in grade school together, high school and some college. We really enjoyed each others humor and always were laughing about one thing or the other. I knew he was quite smart but never made me feel inferior and always encouraged me. We had some really great times in grade school at St Barnabas that I cherish to this day. Although we totally lost touch over the years, Leo truly was a part of who I am today.My prayers go out to his family and friends...
Uncle Joe, Karen,Jolene,Susie, Jackie and Jenny, My deepest sympathy to you all at this time. I have so many wonderful memories of Leo, growing up. Apple fights, croquet games and so much more. He always kept me laughing, we used to get in trouble at the dinner table with Uncle Joe. I will always remember Leo's laugh! Love you all, Your cousin, Conniel
Though it has only been three weeks since we lost the most gregarious member of the Medisch family, it is still hard to come to terms with never seeing Leo again or hearing his raucous laugh over a good joke. We so admired this talented soul Not only could he turn out five star meals, but he was a force to be reckoned with when we would play Jeopardy Though his life was all too short, he packed as much living into it as was possible. Enjoy all your loved ones that have gone before you Leo and be at the gates when the rest of us arrive so we can share a welcome home meal and a good laugh.

Leo was and always will be a lovely light which will continue to shimmer in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to get to know him. What little time I shared with Leo over the years will be big on memories. To me, he was always smiling, extremely kind and very funny. Thank you also, Leo, for the gifts you gave to the foodies in your community. You worked hard and blazed a trail of culinary excellence. You will be missed but always remembered at the feasting table of life with goblets full of love!

It was a pleasure and honor to work with Leo - he always made work fun. I will miss him but know that wherever he is, he's still making others smile. Rest in peace Leo, I hope you're dancing with Tom for eternity.
