My aunt Kathy was the first person I think I knew as a child that had ever travelled outside the country and hearing about her trips to Europe and Asia had a lasting impact on me. Besides her being a wonderful aunt, I will always be grateful for the fact that she was one of the people who opened my eyes to a wider world beyond the small town in Florida where I grew up. My condolences to the whole family.

Death has a way of making itself immediate. We don’t have all the time in the world to tell people how much we love them, I am so glad we did.

I’ve known Kathy since her early days at HPN. She always had a smile on her face and opened her home to any and all who needed. Many wonderful memories of Holiday dinners, baby showers and days at the beach.

We were long time friends of Ed and Wendy Small. Kathy and Ted made us feel like family when we all would visit. We enjoyed her hospitality, her humor, and her kindness. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
