I met Katie a few years ago at Zumba, but didn’t really get to know her until about a year ago. We spent a lot of time chatting outside on the way to our cars after class. Katie always shared stories about her sweet Sadie. I will miss her turning around and rolling her eyes at me (which always made me laugh)when a certain song was played. It’s one that would continually play over in our minds in the middle of the night, keeping us awake. My heart is saddened by the loss of a sweet, dear friend that I had found in Katie. God’s peace and comfort to Pete and the family. I will miss you Katie❤️
Katie was a beautiful soul, and so loved walking her Sadie around our neighborhood. May she rest in peace and may her family find peace in their wonderful memories of her. ❤️
Pete & Family:
We are saddened to hear of your dear Katherine's passing. She would often pass our home on Bayshore Drive walking her little poodle. We can't help but feel how lost you must feel. Please know that we are thinking about you and praying for God's grace and mercy as you journey through this difficult time.
Katie sometimes people leave us without warning. I know you were close to your family and am sure you are meeting those you've been apart from for a long time. I also know your loving four legged family who have been gone were there to meet once you crossed that bridge. That brings a smile to my face. I will miss our talks. Give Lyric and Sweetie a big kiss from me! And a big hug and kiss to you too sweet Katie!
Deepest Sympathy to Pete and your family!
Katie was the kindest, most loving person anyone could hope to know and her sudden loss is heartbreaking.
We are thankful the marriage of our Meg to Pete brought Katie and Pete into our lives for which we will always be grateful.
Our prayers are with all of her family. 💖 Jane and Bob McCormick
There are no words to express the loss of Katie. She was a wonderful lady and a joy to be around. We became "dog buddies" the last couple of years and shared stories about our "fur babies". She will be deeply missed. Love to you Pete and the family. Carol King
It was a pleasure to have known Katie. I really enjoyed our Zumba classes together. She was always in the front row, right next to me. We had many laughs and shared many wonderful stories. We will all miss her very much. Peace be with you my friend. Love, Sandy
I’ve known Kate (Kathy to me) since 1978. Not only was she one of my very best friends, she was a mentor and my soul sister. Memories of her wisdom, kindness and laughter sustain me in this time of deep sorrow.
