Joseph John Schiavone lll's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Joseph John Schiavone III on March 3, 2023, at the age of 33. Joey was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on April 27, 1989. Joey will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his father, Joseph Schiavone, mother, Margaret Kelly, stepmother Sharon Schiavone, sister Brittany Schiavone, and step-brother Bradley Streett, and his wife Eryn Streett. He will also be remembered by his grandfather, Michael Ponton, and many other relatives and friends.
Joey was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He lived in Frederick, MD and was employed with a Cyber security contractor for the U.S. Army.
Joey loved being outdoors, and enjoyed hiking, running, camping, biking, playing guitar and cooking for friends. He was always willing to help others with any task and ready for an adventure. He thrived in his role as a wonderful uncle to his niece and nephews. Joey had recently renewed his faith in the Catholic Church.
A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Edmunds Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Joey will be interred at St. Peter’s cemetery in Lewes, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of Joey’s love, we request that you do an unsolicited act of kindness for someone in need.
A gathering to celebrate Joey’s life will be held at AleCraft Brewery in Railroad PA on March 25, 2023 at 2:30PM. Anyone whose life was touched by knowing Joey is welcome to attend.
