The news of Joey's passing came as a shock to say the least and an understatement to say my heart literally sank. My first thought was Meghan and his two beautiful daughters, then his Mom Carmelia, sister Nicole and family.
Remembering him as a sweet little boy who loved hot dogs and spaghetti, to a young adolescent who enjoyed wrestling. Or the one time he kicked sand on the family at Lewis Beach. 🏖️️ I enjoyed watching him as a grown man, husband and father. He definitely 💯 was well loved by everyone who knows his name. What positive energy he put into this world 🌎
My deepest condolences to Mother, sister, Brother Ray, Meghan, Kimberlyn, Maddie Jo and everyone who loved him. Gone from Earth but never forgotten and his DNA lives on forever. Rest easy with your Dad and beloved Maximus, Joey
Forever many hearts broken
Man, what to say. 17 years goes by fast. That's how long we were friends. I watched you grow up. You were like a younger brother. We may not have spent a huge amount of time together, but we definitely shared plenty of moments. Early in our friendship, you were there to help me out of a bad spot. There was cards, and races, firehouse events, get togethers, parties, and always fantasy football. Can't forget Alex's bachelor party. You hooked me up with car stuff on a couple of occasions. Our daughters went to kindergarten together. I can't remember a time we didn't have a good dig on each other followed by a lot of laughs. You worked hard, you were assertive, and you were dedicated to every thing you did, and you did it with pride. You loved being married and a husband. You absolutely loved being a dad. You were loyal to everyone you loved. You were definitely one of the good ones. You used to give me so much crap just trying to make a trade in fantasy football, and God knows, I'd make any trade to bring you back, brother. I'll miss you dearly. Love you always!
Your loss has been heavily in my heart and mind, and it has yet to feel real to me yet. My heart breaks for Meghan and your family. This was a huge loss for the world. I think my favorite memory is the first time I came over to your house. I’ll never forget the full on wrestling match between you and Nicole over the game boy 😂. It was probably the last time your sister was able to take you. Look over your family know you were loved.
I had the pleasure of working with Joe at JTVCC. Joe had an infectious smile and a sense of humor that would brighten up a room. I wanted to get a remote start for my wife's vehicle, I didn't know what to get. Joe pointed me in the right direction and even installed it for me. Joe was a great guy and will truly be missed. My condolences to his wife and children 🙏
