Hey dad it's John Life has its ups and downs but I think I might figure it out thanks for bringing me into this world life is full of trials and tribulations but I continue to strive and love everyone no matter what it takes wish I could see you again but that's neither here or there all I can do is be me and I am not not one to judge anyone I have lived a pretty hard life on and off but I am glad that you put me into this world to figure it out your son John remember you always
My deepest condolences as I have only just learned of John's passing. I knew John long ago when he married my sister Vanessa. Although they divorced, he kept in touch with my parents. Thank you Linda for allowing me to talk with him just a year ago when she passed away. He was always a cool person. This is Keith Robeson. I had the privilege of working with John and having him as a guide and friend at the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. I apologize for being unable to attend the service. John had a great impact upon my life and career. Yes, as all humans, he had flaws, but he had far more greatness, dedication, courage, and love. John was one of two persons I ever found in my law enforcement career that I would follow without question into any situation because I knew he would be there with me, and I knew we would win. There are just too many memories and situations to recount. More importantly for me, John recruited me into the K-9 Unit. John shared all that he knew with me openly. He challenged me and believed in me. He made sure the unit members received recognition, and he never asked anything he was not willing to give. As a result, I was able to spend ten years of my career in the greatest unit possible, and I was able to share what I knew with others to ensure the continuity of legacy. John built a solid foundation for our unit. More importantly to me, he changed the trajectory of my career and life. There are few people that will have that sort of impact upon others (although I am sure I am not the only one in John's life).
For all of these things, and so much more, I say THANK YOU JOHN. Rest in peace my friend, and I am certain heaven is now an even safer and better place!
To John's entire family, my sincere sympathy as well as my thanks for sharing John with so many others. He will be missed, but he will live on in the lives of the many he touched.
Our hearts go out to the entire family, John was a great father and grandfather and we all thank him for his life long service to the community. All who know him will miss him. May God bless the Williams family on behalf of Doug & Debbie Necomer and the Newcomer family.
Prayers to John's family. I enjoyed working with him at the Frederick County Sheriff's Office he always had time to help and give advice. After John retired and as the years passed John was always available and supportive.
Wow, I'm in shock. Chief Williams was a great man, friend and a even better boss!!! I loved hearing all of his stories. I remember, when Chief Williams invited me down to his Delaware house back in 2008, I believe it was. He wanted me to go to a car show with him. he even let me drive his yellow Plymouth Prowler, which was awesome. Chief Williams and his wife Linda made me feel comfortable in their home and had a great weekend with both of them. I worked with Chief Williams from 2006-2011 at the Sykesville Police Department. Even being friends with Chief Williams I could never call him John, as I had to much respect for the man!! My condolence's to Linda and family

Randy Freysz, I worked with John at the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. John was a professional officer and a pleasure to work with. He worked with our SSTeam to incorporate the K-9 on the Team. Prayers for the family from the Freysz family.
You were a great friend and will be missed by all who had the privilege to know you. You greeted everyone with a hand shake or a hug for the ladies. I will always think of you at every car show we attend. I always enjoyed your cigar box guitar jam sessions as we hung out at the shows.You will always be in our thoughts as the lead car on our future car cruises. Your friendship meant so much to Karin and myself. Our condolences to Linda and your family. Peace to you John.
Devastating news about Chief Williams. The eight years I spent working for him were some of the happiest years of my life. He taught me so much about police work and people skills. Condolences to all the Williams family.... you all will be in my prayers.
