John J. Zadjura's Obituary
John J. Zadjura passed away on Oct. 28th at the Delaware Hospice Center from liver cancer. John was born in Throop, Lackawanna Co., PA, lived most of his working years in Montgomery and Howard County, MD. He worked on the Navy’s nuclear submarine program, and moved to Bay Colony in Dagsboro 16 years ago upon retirement. John is survived by his wife Linda, his children from his first marriage, Lisa, John Jr., and Joseph; his step-children Shannon, Daniel, and Nathan, daughters-in-law Lisa, Anna, and Tricia, son-in-law Joe, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. John enjoyed many things but family was his pride and joy. His willingness to offer continual help and guidance will be missed by all of us who loved him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE, 19930. The family will greet friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM.
The family is honoring his wishes for a private interment at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
However, we hope that friends will visit at John’s home on Sunday, November 4th from 1PM to 4PM to share stories and memories. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
