Linda, I'm so sorry to hear about John. I'll never forget our enjoyable visit when the four of us were in Hawaii. We immediately liked John, and we were so happy for you. After all, you were getting married while you were there, and that made everything even more exciting.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Love from your cousin,
Carol
To The Family,
Please accept my condolence. I hope that you are able to draw comfort from the scriptures during this difficult time. If you are grieving, maybe this will also help you. Matthew 22:32, Jesus quoted God as saying: ‘I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ Then he continued: ‘He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living.’ I know that those words mean that those retained in God’s memory and will return in the resurrection.”
While you mourn, the angels are rejoicing , and your Dad is at peace --I know he will live on in the hearts and minds of so many-- .....sending you and yours peace and love- today and always- my dear sweet friend... xoxo-

Carole and I were saddened to hear of John's passing. I worked with John for many years and greatly valued his judgement and experience as well as his love for his family. He will be missed.
Grandpa,
I still really can't believe you're gone. I know we didn't see too much of each other the last few years but every holiday, visit, and phone call was truly a blessing. I love you so much, and I promise that I will tell Levi every amazing detail about you (I'll be talking for a long time...). I'm going to miss watching food network with you, and especially your root beer floats. The sixteen years that I've been your granddaughter have been wonderful ones, and I'm never going to forget you. Love, your stinky teenager, Colleen.
