Pop Pop, although I wasn’t actually officially a part of the family at the time, Pop Pop immediately became my name for John far before Andrew and I were married and before I was officially part of the family. John and Nancy made me feel like I was part of the family from the very start. He was such a delight and pleasure to be around. Not only did John and Nancy raise amazing children of their own, they carried that over into all of their amazing grandchildren. Our hearts are so full to this day that we got to spend our wedding day with both Pop Pop and Nana in attendance, they sure showed us all how to party! Such a great memory we will cherish forever. You will be missed dearly, your love you show for you family and friends around you will always be present and felt in our hearts and memories of you. Love you Pop Pop ❤️

Mr. Johns always put family first and was always kind and welcoming to me. I'm a better person for having known him. He was a big fan of Dunkin Donuts. I stopped by today and had coffee and donuts in his honor. I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Gregg and the entire Johns family.

I was fortunate enough to meet Mr.Johns briefly at a golf tournament last summer ! He had quite an outgoing personality, much like his son Michael !! My condolences to the Johns family. Heartbreaking....

I was fortunate enough to have enjoyed some great times in our younger days with John and his neighbor Don White. We would play softball at together and then would coach the boys in football. So it was SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS we shared as friends. I also hadn't seen you for quite some time until we met again at the beach for the "softball-golf" tournament down Ocean City. Good times will be missed as will our friendship. Rest in peace my friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Johns passing recently. John was instrumental in my current position, and I always enjoyed our meetings and of course golf together when he was on this side of the state. It’s not often that you learn a lot both professionally and personally from a coworker, but John was ‘that guy’. During those times he always took an interest in not only our professional dealings but in my personal life as well. He always kept me up to date on his wife, his children and of course his grandchildren. Every time he spoke of his grandchildren you could see how proud he was. You are all truly blessed to have had such a great man in your lives and hopefully that fact will provide some solace.

John was my next door neighbor. Whenever we saw each other outside, we would alyways stop what we were doing and talk to each other. Alyways good polsitive conversation. He really cared about his yard, especially the lawn.
It alyways looked beautiful and I was so happy to have a neighbor like this.
John use to cut his grass, he had this old lawn mower that seemed to "float" on the grass, he cut the grass with no effort at all, I could not undersstand why I had to stop 3 or 4 times while I was cutting my grass.
John was a good man, I am sorry that He is gone and wish I was able to spend more time with him
