Great time bringing in the New Year! You will be missed dearly.
To Adrienne and all of John’s family and friends, I am sending love and sincere condolences. I met John in 6th grade at Waynewood Elementary and at that point in my life I generally thought boys were creeps and stupid. But I remember that John was unique - sweet and respectful, while still being funny and outgoing. That didn’t change as we grew up. Always kind, always smiling, always positive and upbeat, and totally un-self absorbed. I will remember him most fondly. Peace and love. Ellen Evans
John my friend, you were the kind of soul who found freedom on the open road, the roar of your Harley carrying you forward, loud music blasting, wind, sky and a smile on your face bearing witness to your joy.
But your truest joy was never the miles behind you, it was the miles and time ahead, shared with your family and friends, with laughter, loyalty, integrity and love.
Truest joy is a profound, lasting emotional state of gratitude and satisfaction, that transcends external circumstances, rooted in faith, happiness and inner peace, trusting God's plans, - you had that, you did that.
Your spirit will live on in every shared story, every ride remembered,
every moment of connection and love you gave us all so freely.
I know I am not alone in this grief, you were loved by everyone who met you; more than most.
Now, free of pain, Heaven’s roads are yours to ride, JC Strong.
- Until we meet again, Swede.

These pics were in my memories. I’m not sure where the the pic of you to was taken. The other one is from the Capitals Stanley Cup Parade. John touched so many lives. 🌴❤️🌴🙏🙏🙏🙏
John and I recently reconnect via Facebook. He recognizing from my post that I was having a hard time with muscular dystrophy. He reached out to me one day to offer his home to my son and I for a couple days to hang out with him on the beach. Unfortunately, that never happened because I was going through my own medical situation at the time. Thank you 🙏🏾 John for allowing me to share my story with you. You were a great spirit and I appreciate all the good conversations we’ve had. Thank you 🙏🏾 from the bottom of my heart💙 May you rest in peace and I’ll see you when I get there….Ernie Lyles
When I think of John, I smile. He was such a wonderful friend. He was a huge supporter of veterans and supported many causes. I had the chance to spend some time with him and Adrienne rocking out to a great band a while back for some birthday fun.
John touched so many lives and he will be deeply missed. I know you will be watching over us all. Adrienne, hugs to you for being his solid rock and being the most amazing wife to him. Love you always, Leisa.
