Our greatest memory of Marty will always be that of the "The Best Neighbors," Ever! He and Bea have been our neighbors, in our twin homes, for just a little over 4 years, and believe me it was not long enough, they became part of our family. My husband,Tom and Marty had lots to chat about, both being avid golfers and with our homes on the golf course, it could be the weather conditions or those who braved heat, wind, cold etc. not to miss a day to play.
For me, Marty will always be, "Mr. Marty and I to him, Miss Ginny". When Marty was well enough to go outside, we would chat about everything going on, and Mr. Marty never missed anything. He was quite a guy. I loved his smile, his jokes, his knowledge, his funny wit and of course his love of his Beatrice. He cared for people and always made friends easily.
We were blessed to be present with Bea on Friday night when Marty passed, to suffer no more. Bea and Marty were not alone. Mr. Marty knew I alway had him on my daily prayer list and he was grateful.
God speed Mr. Marty, we will miss and love you always.
