Mrs. Wilson was my second grade school teacher as well as a dear neighbor for many years.. She woke each day thankful to be alive. I can't remember a day that she did not have a smile on her face. She shared many stories with me and I am so much richer for them .. She was a wonderful teacher and friend.. I think of her fondly and with great respect!
Some of my greatest childhood memories were with Jean and my grandmother. Jean taught me to count when I struggled in 1st grade, she hosted a High Tea for my wedding shower many years ago and her raspy laugh and warm smile are treasured in my heart forever. I am confident that she and grandma are having a ball in heaven right now! God bless her and you all during this time!
I was so saddened to hear of Jean's passing, but comforted by the fact that she led a full life and was loved by so many.I have so many lovely memories of her and of her friendship with my Mom.My Mom always considered their friendship to be precious.
I know they are together in heaven, "catching up with each other. "
