First met Janet, Gill, and Erica in 1981 when we were fortunate to move into a house right next door to their beautiful farm in Mt. Airy, MD. Could not have had better neighbors with so many memories of our families getting together just because we were always outside. Janet was a kind fun loving lady that just seemed to make everyone smile. We remember the Halloween parties with the hay rides for the kids that everyone loved and enjoyed so much. A great lady, friend, a neighbor we have never forgotten and will always cherish our time together as their neighbors....

Dear Gil and Family,
We are so thankful and blessed to have had Janet in our lives. She was truly a special, gracious, poised and a great fun loving lady. Frank and I will always cherish the wonderful memories we shared. We enjoyed this special time with Janet and will always remember her beautiful smile, her cheerful laughter that we all so enjoyed. Janet was an inspiration to me. She was genuine, caring and I admired her and loved her. We will miss her smile and lovely voice but she will always be smiling in our hearts and thoughts. First to Gil, I remember visiting you and Janet many times at your farm in Maryland. I remember Janet preparing wonderful meals and later playing board games into the evening. Janet convinced us to adopt our first pet, Casey who we and our kids enjoyed
playing with him. Penny and I will miss Janet very much, but now she is with God and finally at peace with no more suffering. Gil, please take care of yourself and try to laugh as much as you can since laughter is the best medicine in sad times. Please stay in touch with us.

I have known Janet since as long as I can remember. I still can picture the drive out to the farm in Maryland. Good times and memories there for sure. Her wonderful laugh and joyfulness will always remain in my heart. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to Janet's family and friends.

I first met Janet and Gill while ride sharing (Steve J.) on the way to BWI airport. As we shared the back seat, it was readily apparent that not only had she had a life well lived but she delighted in the present. We did have occasion to meet a time or two after that and again, Janet proved to be a joyful and interesting conversationalist. I also discovered that she enjoyed some particular Greek foods which fortunately I was able to share with her. Though our paths didn't cross much, I will keep in my heart forever, the lovely and uplifting woman she was. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
