James (Jim) C. O'Dell's Obituary
A local Rehoboth Art League Artist, James “Jim” C. O'Dell, age 68, of Lewes, DE passed away in his sleep, peacefully, on Sunday morning, February 28, 2016, at home. He was born Saturday, May 31, 1947 in Nutley, NJ, to the late Clifford and Ethel (Prigy) O'Dell.
Mr. O'Dell was a former resident of Point Pleasant, NJ for over thirty years. After settling in Lewes, he became a member of the Rehoboth Art League. He also taught art privately. Mr. O'Dell even displayed his art work at the Buttery Restaurant in Lewes on several occasions. Jim was a kind and giving person which led to him being a longtime volunteer at the Beebe Thrift Shop.
Mr. O'Dell is survived by his husband, Albert Caiazzo, of Lewes, DE.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 10:00 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 19961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Mid-Sussex Rescue Squad, 31738 Indian Mission Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966.
