I'm sad to hear of Jim's passing.. It was a pleasure knowing such a kind and gentle guy. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Albert and to the family and friends.

The greatest tribute that I can give is summed up in the Golden Girls theme song ..... Thank you for being a friend. May the Lord bestow upon you everlasting joy and happiness. As an aside, after years of bantering, it's good to finally know that you were older than I. I am thinking of Linda Ronstadt's song right now, Goodbye My Friend.

Jim will surely be missed. He was such a gentle, sweet, loving and creative man that touched so many hearts. May he rest in peace. Our sincere condolences extended to Albert and his family.
I first met Jim when volunteering Tuesdays as cashier for the Beebe Thrift Shop. Jim & I began to chat between customers and began a fast friendship. We shared experiences and felt like brother and sister (something we both needed and wanted). We shared during Jim's lonely single days and through his courtship and marriage with Albert. Jim has such a good eye for art and things of value and would help price items appropriately for our customers as well as our shop. One day, a Thursday, Jim dropped in and found me at the register alone. He immediately came behind the counter and started to help me out, saying, "no, you should not be here alone." So we worked together Tuesdays and Thursdays for some time. Jim's health deteriorated significantly, and Albert continued to provide loving watchfulness and care. Albert did everything to make Jim comfortable. The devotion shown was palpable. Jim was a man of impeccable taste and vast artistic knowledge. I loved him so very much, and I know he loved me too. May he rest in peace. His chosen sister, Myrna
