Frosty defined what it is to be a friend. He was so very easy to meet, his friendship required very little effort to maintain, and, he was always glad to see you. We all will miss his wit and his laugh. I first met Frosty in the 60s,after I bought my house on Pilottown Rd. I also bought a 30 foot sailboat that same year. I had no idea what to do with a boat! I did not know how to sail and had not the foggiest idea of how to maintain a boat. Frosty was one of the folks at the Pilottown Marina that unselfishly helped me through my first couple of years of boat ownership. He was always there, with a joke and a smile, to help with questions about boat maintenance that Joyce and I had. Frosty and Faye were a vital part of that Pilottown Marina crew that were indeed a 'Band Of Brothers and Sisters'. I always thought we were all family. Frosty always 'showed-up' even before 'showing-up' was a thing. Joyce and I will miss our dear friend, Frosty, more and more as time passes. Lewes is lucky to have had a man as dedicated to his town as Frosty was.
