Mrs. Maust was the most encouraging woman I knew as I was growing up as a teenager in our small neighborhood. She would always tell me how good I was at sports and I should be playing for the local high school I attended and that she worked at as well. She was quick to tell you when you did something that wasn't right as well. One day she witnessed me and my younger brother having a scuffle and she came out to break us up and gave us a good talking to and made us make up by apologizing to one another and hugging it out in front of her. Another incident that involved my youngest brother who was playing down at the creek that is in the woods near our neighborhood. My sister came running home trying to get help to my brother as he cut a major nerve in his foot and bleeding profusely. Mrs. Maust ran to the creek to rescue him and brought him to the hospital. If it weren't for her I don't know what would have happened. I guess you could say she was our neighborhood grandma. Mrs. Maust you were such a sweet neighbor to all of us kids on Marton Street Manor and never fussed about all the ruckus we would make. You encouraged us all and loved us all the same. You are always thought. This earth has lost an Angel and heaven has welcomed you back home. I love you Elaine
