I worked with Harry at NJM and just loved his approach to life. We had many a good laugh with him and he became the building manager when Ralph Plaen retired. One of my favorite memories is Harry enjoyed my chili. I would get a call from him and he would tell me if I was teaching on a particular day, he and the “Boys” wanted a pot of chili. I went through a period of difficulties and some years passed. I was working in the area of the new NJM office and called and asked for Harry. When I told him who I was, he responded, “You are always my friend and always welcomed to come over to spend some time with me. I never forget his friendship and cherish the time I had worked with him. Rest in Peace Harry, You were and are always a friend. Robert W. Hecht
Harry, I miss you and your friendly sarcastic humor when we would come over to visit with you when you would be outside sitting on your Golf Cart or in your truck. You were a gentle giant, bigger than life and a very good friend. Rich and I will miss our visits with you. You could always make me laugh and we had a lot of those for sure. Rest in Peace dear friend until we all meet again. Our loss is heavens gain. They needed another Angel and you were chosen.

Kathy and Family,
Our sincere condolences. Mike was a good guy and I always thought of him as part of the family.. Things are not getting easier with Jimmy, Skeet, and now Mike gone. My brothers brought good people into my life. I respected Mike like I do my big bothers. At any of the gatherings he was the life of the party. I will always keep Mike and all of you in my thoughts.

My dear friend for over 60 years is in a better place without pain and I know he is surrounded by all his friends that went before him. That is Harry Michael! A people person, you always enjoyed his company. Whether we were hunting, fishing, golfing, or just sitting around with a beer, he always made it better.
So many wonderful memories. From New Jersey to West Virginia and South Carolina, to Lake Ontario with cousin Bud. And of course the family camping trips and holidays with our wives and children. So much love and laughter over the years.
I will miss him deeply but will always have all those special memories to cherish and reflect on. You know, in some special way, I bet Harry is doing the same thing.
Rest In Peace my friend. Love and Prayers, Pete
Saying goodbye to a good friend is always hard when you are sitting alone thinking of the memories you made and how a friendship grew over the years. Living across the street, both of us retired and transplants from NY & NJ gave us plenty of time with each other to bond and become close friends over the past 12 years. Harry was so easy to like with his sharp wit and his mannerisms that keep so many of us smiling. You learned to love his sarcasm along with his wisdom and insightfulness. He was very astute on what was going on and wrong in the world we live in and our opinions on how to fix them were similar. I’m going to miss those daily visits sitting in his driveway and getting an education money can’t buy. We had more than our share of laughs. Our memories of our childhoods ran parallel, both of us being farm boys with hay seeds in our hair. We would say we were problem solvers. If there wasn’t a problem, we’d make one. I’m going to miss my friend, his words of wisdom and the encouragement he gave when I was fighting my own battle. To say God doesn't make people like Harry anymore is an understatement. He was one of a kind and I doubt you will find another like him in this lifetime. I pray God will consider giving the world another Harry in a second go around because the world needs more people like him. My final thought of Harry. Your memory will always be with me, my friend. As you pass through heaven’s gate on your way home, may you find Fair Winds and Following Seas. Save me a seat when you get settled in.
Loved my Uncle. He was such a sweet man. Always always smiling!! Loved his kids beyond measure. He will surely be missed. To the Hunts are my deepest condolences. Xoxo Erica
Kathy & Family,
So sorry about Harry’s passing. We’ll miss him standing guard in his golf cart smoking his favorite cigar. We’ll also miss his words of wisdom at the Friday breakfasts with his friends. Take care and please call at any time.
