H. James Kelleher Jr.'s Obituary
H. James Kelleher Jr., 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Rehoboth Beach, DE, on May 29, 2025, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Born on December 7, 1939, in Wilmington, DE, Jim led a life filled with warmth, compassion, and purpose.
He is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette, and their sons, James, Sean (Laura), and Mark (Becky), as well as his beloved grandchildren, Patrick and Erin. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marjorie Kelleher, and his brother, Daniel F. Kelleher.
Jim built a respected career as a REALTOR®, known for his integrity, dedication, and deep connection to his community. As a REALTOR he held leadership roles and was very actively involved in the Delaware, New Castle County, and Sussex County Board of Realtors. He generously shared his knowledge and mentored others throughout his professional life.
Above all, Jim will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the genuine way he connected with everyone he met. His legacy of love and generosity lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels Delaware in Jim’s memory at www.mealsonwheelsde.org.
