Got to know Gilbert as one of the "Ramp Rats" at the old Lewes dock what a great bunch of guys. Always looked forward to weekend mornings and seeing Gilbert and the others for coffee and talk! He was one of a kind, a truly giving person with a big heart, Loved the oldies and all things Lewes. I am truly blessed to have known this man. Even though we retired and moved to Georgia I often think of him an the boat ramp on weekend mornings. May God bless his family ! Rest in peace dear friend Gilbert

My sincere condolences to the family. I only knew Gil a short time through Punkin Chunkin, but he was a great man to work with. I wish I had a better job to work around to get down to Lewes to pay my respects, but sadly, this will have to do. RIP Gil. You'll surely be missed.
WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS TIME TO TELL YOU HOW SORRY WE ARE FOR THE LOSE OF GILBERT. HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND SEEMED THAT HE WOULD DO ANYTHING THAT HE COULD FOR ANYONE THAT NEEDED IT. WE HAVE LOST A GREAT MAN BUT HEAVEN JUST RECEIVED A GREAT MAN AS WELL. YOUR FAMILY WILL BE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. GOD BLESS
