I was so sorry to hear of Georgie's passing. She was one of the nicest people I have known. She was also a true prayer warrior. I have fond memories of her praying daily for everyone, by name, on our church prayer sheet when she was attending Fairwinds Baptist Church. Georgie loved her family and my prayers are with you now for God's comfort.

I am sorry to hear of Georgie's passing. She was the one who cared enough to bring me back to the church when I had wandered away. That connection with Jesus has lasted this far in my life and through eternity with the God I love, I will look back in thanks to her as well. My prayers are with the family.
We at Fairwinds Baptist Church have such fond memories of Georgie Cox. She was a precious saint of God. Her soft mannerisms and loving spirit were evident to all who came in contact with her. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and never missed an opportunity to be in God's house. She will be sorely missed by all.

Tim & Tammy, I'm saddened to hear of your mother's passing but so blessed to have grown up with all of you. I'll always remember getting a double dose of Summer VBS while taking the bus to Fairwinds with you. Georgie's example was one that influenced me at an early age to keep the Lord first and walk the straight and narrow. She will be missed but she's walking the streets of gold waiting for that reunion we'll have with her one day.
