It has taken me a little bit to post something on this site, as it would mean that I have to finally acknowledge that my dear friend is no longer here. Attending her celebration of life on Saturday November 23 was bittersweet and the many good people who I saw there, was probably hoping that Gail was smiling down and appreciating that her house was filled with those who loved and cared about her. I have heard it said that God brings people in your life, not really knowing why or the reason, but I will tell you that Gail became a good friend in 2010 when I was navigating my way on my own in an unfamiliar area with family miles away. Our friendship was instant and 14 years later it was still going strong. Thank you Gail, as I will miss you my dear friend, and remember the many good times we shared.❤️
I always remember Gail saying her life philosophy was ‘Carpe Diem’, Seize the Day. During our short time together, that was how I saw her. She was vibrant, intelligent and always lived in the moment with gusto, passion and joy. I was shocked and sadden to hear of her sudden passing and send my love and sympathy to her daughter Kelly and husband Ed. ❤️
Gail and I met in February 1977 at our first jobs out of college. Together we celebrated our weddings and births of our children as well as mourning the passing of loved ones. I miss you Gail. You will always be with me.
