I worked with Fred at both Dundalk and Howard Community Colleges. He was an elegant man. He will be missed. Valerie (Blackmon) Lash
Fred was a friend; he was kind and gentle. He was always welcoming with warm hugs and a beautiful smile that lit up his eyes. I will miss knowing that he is not with Char as they had always taken such tender care of each other. He was a gem. See you on the other side dear Fred.
Dear Charlene and Family,
My encounters with Fred were few, but in those moments, I experienced the energy and joy so many have mentioned. My heart and thoughts are with you at this time. May your many happy and fond memories sustain you.

Fred was a light of warmth and humor. He wanted to o help friends and family and he always seemed to know knew how. He was a dear Man and my very favorite brother-in-law. I am incredibly sad that he has left us, but so grateful he was part of our lives.
We have fond memories of Fred as he added joy to our neighborhood events at The Cottages on White's Creek. He and Charlene were always gracious hosts at their beautiful homes. Our hearts go out to Charlene and her family at this time of grieving.
