Frances E. Tobin's Obituary
Frances Rita (nee Eppley) Tobin, 93, of Lewes DE died on March 25, 2025. She was born on December 4, 1931 to Geary Francis and Elizabeth Flenner Eppley in Washington DC.
Frances attended the University of Maryland where she earned a Bachelor of Science (1952) and a Master of Science in Microbiology (1954).
She is predeceased by her husband Henry H. Hunt IV (2023). She is survived by her four children, Richard (Beryl), Susan (Cathy), Linda (Linda), and Kathleen, and four grandchildren, Michael (Katy), Jeffrey, Alison (John), and Emily, four grandsons, Connor, Jacob, John and Elijiah and a brother Geary Eppley. She is predeceased by her former husband Jerry C. Tobin (2015) and sister Libby Danforth.
Frances divided her time between homes in Oradell, NJ, Westerly, RI, St Croix, USVI, and Lewes, DE. She was an avid traveler, SCUBA diver and volunteer.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Moorings, Lewes, DE on Sunday April 6, 2025. All who knew and loved Frances are welcome to join the family at 11am.
