Ernest C. King's Obituary
Ernest C. King, age 76, of Georgetown, DE, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, DE Mr. King had retired as an Operations Instructor after over 38 years service with the San Diego California Transit System. He had served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW. He was born on August 22, 1932 in Georgetown, DE son of the late John L. King and Eva E. Moore King.
He is survived by one son, Ernest Sweep King of Georgetown, DE, Brother-Donald M. King of Seaford, DE, Sister-Rebecca King of Bear, DE, Sister-Esther King of Delmar, Md., Sister-Rachel King Thomas of Seaford, DE, Sister-Ruth King Townsend of Laurel, DE, and Grandson-Paris King of California. He was also predeceased by siblings Charles W. Baker , David King , Peter King , John King, Thomas King, and Evelyn King.
Funeral services will be held at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 North Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE on Wednesday July 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Cokesbury Cemetery, near Georgetown, DE
