Elizabeth Ann Laschen's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Laschen, 84, of Long Neck, Delaware passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Elizabeth was born in Coal Center, Pennsylvania in June 1940. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, William “Bill” H. Laschen in January 1987.
One of Elizabeth’s greatest passions was gardening and passed the love of gardening to her daughters. She looked forward to discovering new plants and enjoyed sharing and discussing her many gardens with family and friends.
Elizabeth raised her family in California, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Lisa Zilka, and her husband Andrew of Laurel, Maryland, and Christy Laschen, and her husband James Worthen of Fairfax, Virginia. She adored her grandchildren Jessica Zilka (Zachary) and Douglas Zilka of Maryland, Jessica (Steven) Florig and Jacob Worthen of Virginia, and Harrison (Kaitlyn) Worthen of Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was equally proud of her three great grandchildren — Eliza, Robin, and Mason.
Services will be held privately for family at Highland Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
