Elizabeth Anne "Betsy" Knoll's Obituary
Elizabeth Anne “Betsy” Knoll, of Millsboro, DE, formally from Ridley, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 4, 2025, at the age of 66.
Born on March 22, 1959, in Darby, PA, Betsy was the daughter of the late Gordon Lytle and Veronica Bernick. She was a proud graduate of Darby Colwyn High School, Class of 1977, and later earned her associate degree from Delaware County Community College.
Betsy was married to Mike Knoll for 45 years, he was the love of her life. She built a successful career in finance, accounting, and Human Resources, where her dedication and warmth made a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.
One of Betsy’s greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren, who brought endless light to her life. She also loved crafting, spending time with her family, and enjoying the company of her Delaware friends and community.
In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Ruczynski; her brother, Gordon Lytle; and her beloved parents-in-law, Phil and June Knoll.
Betsy is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; her children, Michael and Kellie (Anthony); her sister, Joanne; and her cherished grandchildren, Gianna, Michael, Steven, Izzy, and Lexie. She is also survived by extended family, including her brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Betsy will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held from 9:15 AM to 11:00 AM, on November 17, 2025, at St. Kevin's Church, 200 W Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM.
