Elizabeth, I just found out you’ve been gone for a month, and I’m still in shock.

We started as coworkers at American Banknote in the Bronx, but you became so much more than that, you became my best friend. The kind of friend people are lucky to have once in a lifetime.

It hurts knowing I didn’t get to say goodbye. Hurts knowing I missed that moment. But I’ll never miss what you meant to me or the memories we built together.

Thank you for being in my life, for the laughs, the honesty, and just being you.

I miss you more than I can explain. And I’ll never forget you.

Titi Eli was a loving and gentle woman, always so thoughtful, positive, and full of quiet strength. She was not only my aunt, but also my godmother, and that made her even more special in my life.
Although distance didn’t allow us to share as much time together as we would have wished, the love and admiration I have for her were always present. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
It brings me some comfort to know that she is now at peace, resting after a long life. Even though our hearts feel her absence and wish we could have had her with us longer, there is solace in knowing she is no longer in pain and is finally resting.
Titi Eli, you are loved always and will never be forgotten.
