I just learned of your mother's passing on the internet. My father, Charlie Moore, worked for your dad in Camden,SC. My mother, Anne Hardesty Moore, and Sis were great friends and golfing buddies.Anne died on Thanksgiving, 2008 at 89. I'm

Mrs. Samans was a kind lady. I grew up across the street from her on Lewes Beach. Herself and Mr. Samans were considered "old Lewes Beach"--not in age but back when residents were few and far between! She was a good neighbor to all us kids growing up. I'm sincerely sorry for your loss.

I was just made aware that Ms. Samans and my husband are related and that she is an aunt of his. I send my sympathy to the family. Loosing a loved one is difficult regardless of how old the person was who passed.
Although I wasn't close in recent years, I do remember a few visits.
Jim and Bill..Know that she is at peace now and in a better place.You both took care of her and were there when needed. I know she appreciated that. Your mom was a good person. I will miss her. We all will who knew her. In her life "she did the right thing". If we do nothing more in this world of ours lets hope we can "do the right thing" in the time we have left on this planet of ours! My thoughts are with you both now and you and she will be there in my thoughts on Friday. I loved her too.
