I am not related to Mrs. Brown, When I met her it was purely chance, I was about 11 years old sitting on the outer wall of the Broadwater Marina. I was fishing and a lady walked up to me and asked "How's the fishing?" I don't remember exactly how I replied, and then she asked if I would mind some company and sit down on the seawall beside me. After a short time it stared to rain, and she advised me to walk back to the marina and we walked together. I was chattering about how nice those boats were and she asked me if I would like to see one. I could only say YES!! excitedly. We walked all the way around the big horseshoe shaped marina all the way back to slip number one, where a big beautiful boat named the "Miss Broadwater" She told me to put down my fishing pole and I could come and see the inside. I boarded the boat and went inside. She opened a refrigerator and offered me a bottle of Coke. I had never seen a refrigerator on a boat before, and was amazed. We left the boat after a few minutes and walked back to the Hotel where we separated with a "nice meeting you". I was staying there with my dad who was a Proctor and Gamble salesman, and could not wait to tell him about the really nice lady I met, and got to go on a boat. My dad asked me if I was polite and I said "Of course" and that she was so nice!!. Then my dad told me that woman was the owner of the hotel and marina. In reflection I should have caught on when the by the name of the boat she took me on. I know for a fact that woman was a wonderful person, without a doubt. Signed a 70 year old man who will never forget her.
